Diagnosis Method for Sparse Optimization Based on Multi-step Grid Search of Bearing Coupling Faults
Under the unbalance-bearing coupling fault of the rotor system, the unbalance fault features and bearing faults modulate each other, and the weak fault features are easily submerged by the strong fault features and strong noise components.

An Efficient Method to Learn Overcomplete Multi-Scale Dictionaries of ECG Signals
The electrocardiogram (ECG) was the first biomedical signal for which digital signal processing techniques were extensively applied. By its own nature, the ECG is typically a sparse signal, composed of regular activations (QRS complexes and other ...

Sparse Representation by Frames with Signal Analysis
The use of frames is analyzed in Compressed Sensing (CS) through proofs and experiments. First, a new generalized Dictionary-Restricted Isometry Property (D-RIP) sparsity bound constant for CS is established. Second, experiments with a tight frame to analyze sparsity and reconstruction quality using several signal and image types are shown.

The corrosion performance of AlSi7Mg and AlSi10Mg alloys produced through selective laser melting (SLM) was examined under compressive stress in a chloride environment. Electrochemical analyses, including open‐circuit potential (OCP), potentiodynamic polarization (CPP), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), were complemented by scanning ...

Sparse representation-based DOA estimation of coherent wideband LFM signals in FRFT domain
In this paper, the method of direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation for wideband signals based on sparse representation of FRFT domain is proposed by using the excellent convergence of FRFT to LFM signals.

Parametric dictionary design for sparse coding
—This paper introduces a new dictionary design method for sparse coding of a class of signals. It has been shown that one can sparsely approximate some natural signals using an overcomplete set of parametric functions, e.g. [1], [2].

Activelets: Wavelets for sparse representation of hemodynamic responses [PDF]
We propose a new framework to extract the activity-related component in the BOLD functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) signal. As opposed to traditional fMRI signal analysis tech-niques, we do not impose any prior knowledge of the event timing ...

Additive Gaussian Process Regression for Predictive Design of High‐Performance, Printable Silicones
A chemistry‐aware design framework for tuning printable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for vat photopolymerization (VPP) is developed using additive Gaussian process (GP) modeling. Polymer network mechanics informs variable groupings, feasible formulation constraints, and interaction variables.

A unified research data management framework for heterogeneous materials data is presented. The system integrates multimodal datasets using ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling interoperability and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data principles. By linking data across scales and workflows, it supports reproducible, Artifitial
