Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Color Image Super-resolution Reconstruction Based on Color Constraint and Nonlocal Sparse Representation [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2019
Color image super-resolution reconstruction method based on sparse representation model usually adopts sparse coding process based on image blocks, which easily leads to the instability of sparse representation, and the problems of detail blurring and ...

Wavelet Based Dictionaries for Dimensionality Reduction of ECG Signals [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Dimensionality reduction of ECG signals is considered within the framework of sparse representation. The approach constructs the signal model by selecting elementary components from a redundant dictionary via a greedy strategy.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Energy Efficient GNSS Signal Acquisition Using Singular Value Decomposition (SVD)

open access: yesSensors, 2018
A significant challenge in global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signal processing is a requirement for a very high sampling rate. The recently-emerging compressed sensing (CS) theory makes processing GNSS signals at a low sampling rate possible if ...

Accelerated Dictionary Learning for Sparse Signal Representation

open access: yes, 2017
Learning sparsifying dictionaries from a set of training signals has been shown to have much better performance than pre-designed dictionaries in many signal processing tasks, including image enhancement. To this aim, numerous practical dictionary learning (DL) algorithms have been proposed over the last decade.
