Exploring Dipolar Dynamics and Ionic Transport in Metal‐Organic Frameworks: Experimental and Theoretical Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

Internal Temperature Evolution Metrology and Analytics in Li‐Ion Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates the non‐linear evolution of internal temperatures across diverse operating conditions, highlighting the disparities between internal and external measurements and the resulting thermal asymmetries. The coupled thermo‐electrochemical modeling framework provides a comprehensive analysis of various heat generation modes, examining ...

In Situ Formation of a Melt‐Solid Interface Toward Stable Oxygen Reduction in Protonic Ceramic Fuel Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
Protonic ceramic fuel cells offer a promising route to generate power efficiently but face critical challenges in achieving industrially viable activity and stability at their cathodes in CO2‐containing air. This report proposes a new cathode material design strategy to enable the cathode to be both catalytically active and CO2 tolerant through the ...

Vehicles of spatial ability [PDF]

open access: possiblePersonality and Individual Differences, 2002
Spatial ability implies the generation, retention, retrieval, and transformation of visuo-spatial information. Factor analytic research has identified a broad array of spatial factors. Visualization (Vz) and Spatial relations (SR) are among the most cited.

SPATIAL ABILITIES AND SPATIAL EGOCENTRISM IN THE YOUNG CHILD

Child Development, 1971
SHANTZ, CAROLYN U., and WATSON, JOHN S. Spatial Abilities and Spatial Egocentrism in the Young Child. CHILD DEVELOPMENT, 1971, 42, 171181. It was hypothesized that the ability of the young child to predict the location of objects on a mock landscape after he has physically moved around the landscape is positively related to his ability to identify ...

The Idea of Spatial Ability

New England Journal of Medicine, 1982
One of the hardiest generalizations that has emerged from studies of sex differences in intellectual functioning is that American and European men usually outperform women on tests of spatial reasoning.1 Those who believe that this difference is due partly to biologic influences attribute the effect either to the direct action of gonadal steroids on ...

Spatial ability and handedness

Intelligence, 1982
Abstract The relationship between preferred handedness and spatial visualization was examined for 124 female and 229 male undergraduate students. Handedness and spatial ability were used in the design as continuous variables. Other variables examined were sex of subject and family history of sinistrality.
