Magical Ideation Modulates Spatial Behavior
The Journal of Neuropsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences, 2003Previous research has found that animals as well as persons with psychotic disorders preferentially orient away from the cerebral hemisphere with the more active dopamine system. This study investigated the modulation of spatial behavior by a mode of thinking reminiscent of the positive symptoms of psychosis.

Spatial behavior of anomalous transport
Physical Review E, 2002We present a general derivation of one-dimensional spatial concentration distributions for anomalous transport regimes. Such transport can be captured in the framework of a continuous time random walk with a broad transition time distribution. This general theory includes a Fokker-Planck equation as a particular limiting case.

Annual Review of Sociology, 1978
Over a decade ago, sociologists with an interest in the dynamics of inter per sonal relations turned their attention toward the spatial setting of human behavior. This was an exciting movement away from the "figure" of individ uals and groups to the "ground" of the space in which social activities occur.

Spatial-Temporal Behavior Understanding
2021Image understanding requires the use of images to fully grasp the scene information, analyze the meaning of the scene, explain the scene dynamics, and then understand the semantic information they convey (Zhang 2018b).

Spatial Behavior for Nonlinear Heat Equations
Mathematical Models and Methods in Applied Sciences, 1997In this paper we investigate spatial decay and growth estimates for the solutions of the nonlinear heat equation in a three-dimensional cylinder with homogeneous Dirichlet conditions prescribed on the lateral surface for all time. We derive two Phragmen–Lindelöf type growth–decay estimates. Two methods are used in our approximation.
