Assessing Performance of Three BIM-Based Views of Buildings for Communication and Management of Vertically Stratified Legal Interests

open access: yesISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, 2017
Multistorey buildings typically include stratified legal interests which provide entitlements to a community of owners to lawfully possess private properties and use communal and public properties.

CADASTRAL AND URBAN MAPS ENRICHMENTS USING SMART SPATIAL DATA FUSION [PDF]

open access: yesISPRS Annals of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2023
Cadastral and urban map enrichment/upgrading is an essential requirement for smart urban management. The high pace of development and change in megacities can cause different challenges for urban organizations to reproduce their maps based on their need.

Finding the Optimal Convolutional Kernel Size for Semantic Segmentation of Pole-like Objects in Lidar Point Clouds [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences
Pole-like objects (PLOs) are important street assets in urban environments, yet current deep learning methods often underperform in their segmentation compared to other objects.

An intracellular transporter mitigates the CO2‐induced decline in iron content in Arabidopsis shoots

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study identifies a gene encoding a transmembrane protein, MIC, which contributes to the reduction of shoot Fe content observed in plants under elevated CO2. MIC is a putative Fe transporter localized to the Golgi and endosomal compartments. Its post‐translational regulation in roots may represent a potential target for improving plant nutrition ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.
