Mode-Division Multiplexed W-Band RoF Transmission for Higher-order Spatial Multiplexing
Optical Fiber Communication Conference, 201520Gb/s seamless 2×2 MIMO transmission of W-Band millimeter-wave signals over a 30-km modal-dispersion-compensated mode-division multiplexed link and a 2.5-m wireless path, is demonstrated for enhancing the transmission capacity in radio-over-fiber systems.

Multi-Antenna Downlink Spatial Division Multiplexing with Opportunistic Feedback
GLOBECOM 2009 - 2009 IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference, 2009In this paper, a new opportunistic feedback and user selection protocol is proposed for the multiple antenna downlink. The proposed scheme uses the structure of zero-forcing dirty paper coding (DPC) at the transmitter and selects users using a contention-based feedback channel.
