Spatial Interpolation and Disaggregation of Multipliers

Most non‐survey methods of estimating single‐region multipliers have been shown to produce a systematic upward bias, unless a considerable amount of “superior” data is added. Here it is argued that this conclusion does not need to apply to the case of a non‐survey, spatial disaggregation of multipliers.

Spatial interpolation of interlaced television pictures

The authors present a novel algorithm for spatial interpolation of 2-to-1 interlaced television pictures. The basic problem that this algorithm addresses is reconstruction of a frame from one of the fields. The algorithm is based on two spatially varying image models. It can be applied to color as well as black-and-white pictures.

Surface Interpolation by Spatial Environment Graphs

A new algorithm for the reconstruction of surfaces from three-dimensional point clouds is presented. Its particular features are reconstruction of open surfaces with boundaries from data sets with variable density, and treatment of sharp edges, that is, locations of infinite curvature.

Different spatial interpolation techniques are shortly discussed and applied on different precipitation series recorded in Dobrogea. We also discuss the interpolation of the parameters of AR models that describe the evolution of the annual precipitation series in the study region.
