Interactive Top-k Spatial Keyword queries
2015 IEEE 31st International Conference on Data Engineering, 2015Conventional top-k spatial keyword queries require users to explicitly specify their preferences between spatial proximity and keyword relevance. In this work we investigate how to eliminate this requirement by enhancing the conventional queries with interaction, resulting in Interactive Top-k Spatial Keyword (ITkSK) query.

Efficient Processing of Spatial Group Keyword Queries
ACM Transactions on Database Systems, 2015With the proliferation of geo-positioning and geo-tagging techniques, spatio-textual objects that possess both a geographical location and a textual description are gaining in prevalence, and spatial keyword queries that exploit both location and textual description are gaining in prominence.

Density Based Collective Spatial Keyword Query
2012 Eighth International Conference on Semantics, Knowledge and Grids, 2012Geographic objects with descriptive text are gaining in prevalence in many web services such as Google map. Spatial keyword query which combines both the location information and textual description stands out in recent years. Existing works mainly focus on finding top-k Nearest Neighbours where each node has to match the whole querying keywords.

On Efficient Spatial Keyword Querying with Semantics
2016The fast development of GPS equipped devices has aroused widespread use of spatial keyword querying in location based services nowadays. Existing spatial keyword indexing and querying methodologies mainly focus on the spatial and textual similarities, while leaving the semantic understanding of keywords in spatial web objects and queries to be ignored.

Authentication of Multiple-User Spatial Keywords Queries
2018 IEEE Third International Conference on Data Science in Cyberspace (DSC), 2018A top-k Multiple-user Spatial Keywords (MUSK) query takes a location and a set of keywords as arguments and returns the k best point of interests (POIs) that satisfy multiple-user's happiness. In the database outsourcing paradigm, data owner (DO) delegates the role of answering user's queries to a cloud service provider(CSP). Since either the CSP or an

Evaluating spatial-keyword queries on streaming data
Proceedings of the 26th ACM SIGSPATIAL International Conference on Advances in Geographic Information Systems, 2018This paper provides an extensive experimental evaluation for different spatial-keyword index structures on streaming data. We extend existing snapshot spatial-keyword queries with the temporal dimension to effectively serve streaming data applications.

Moving spatial keyword queries [PDF]
Web users and content are increasingly being geo-positioned. This development gives prominence to spatial keyword queries, which involve both the locations and textual descriptions of content. We study the efficient processing of continuously moving top-kspatial keyword (MkSK) queries over spatial text data.

Answering Why-Not Group Spatial Keyword Queries
IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, 2020With the proliferation of geo-textual objects on the web, extensive efforts have been devoted to improving the efficiency of top-kk spatial keyword queries in different settings. However, comparatively much less work has been reported on enhancing the quality and usability of such queries. In this context, we propose means of enhancing the usability of

Spatial Keyword Query Processing in the Internet of Vehicles
2017This paper takes the first step to address the issue of processing Spatial Keyword Queries (SKQ) in the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) environment. As a key technique to obtain location-aware information, the Spatial Keyword Query (SKQ) is proposed. It can search qualified objects based on both keywords and location information.
