The Flexible Group Spatial Keyword Query [PDF]
, 2017 We present a new class of service for location based social networks, called the Flexible Group Spatial Keyword Query, which enables a group of users to collectively find a point of interest (POI) that optimizes an aggregate cost function combining both spatial distances and keyword similarities.

A Query Understanding Framework for Earth Data Discovery
Applied Sciences, 2020 One longstanding complication with Earth data discovery involves understanding a user’s search intent from the input query. Most of the geospatial data portals use keyword-based match to search data.

Efficiently Processing Spatial and Keyword Queries in Indoor Venues [PDF]
IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, 2021 Due to the growing popularity of indoor location-based services, indoor data management has received significant research attention in the past few years. However, we observe that the existing indexing and query processing techniques for the indoor space do not fully exploit the properties of the indoor space.

Time-aware collective spatial keyword query
Computer Science and Information Systems, 2021 The collective spatial keyword query is a hot research topic in the database community in recent years, which considers both the positional relevance to the query location and textual relevance to the query keywords. However, in real life, the temporal information of object is not always valid.
