CO2‐Induced Reverse Lattice Oxygen Spillover on Pt/CeO2 Enables Sulfur‐Resistant Dry Reforming of Methane

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A critical step, dry reforming of methane (DRM) converts biogas into useful syngas. Yet trace H2S in biogas rapidly poisons DRM catalysts, limiting practical use. We developed a robust Pt/CeO2 catalyst sustaining DRM activity via CO2‐induced reverse lattice oxygen spillover in H2S‐rich environments.

Does the Visa-Free Policy Promote Inbound Tourism? Evidence From China

open access: yesSAGE Open
A visa-free policy is a tool for attracting foreign tourists, but existing studies evaluating its effects do not consider spatial spillover. This study, therefore, examined the effects of visa policies on urban inbound tourism with spatial spillover ...

Animal‐Based Brands Taking the Plant‐Based Opportunity: A Tasting Experiment Exploring Consumer Acceptance of Plant‐Based Brand Extensions

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates how consumer taste and brand equity perceptions shape the acceptance of plant‐based milk products. Using a blind/informed tasting experiment, we evaluated consumers' willingness to buy (WTB) and taste perception of a plant‐based milk alternative produced by a traditional dairy brand, compared with competing plant‐based ...

Quantitative Photo‐Reforming of Biomass to CO Spurred by In Situ Protonation of Carbon Dioxide Radical Anions

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A “two‐in‐one” photoreduction strategy enabled by electron‐rich yolk Cd species both remote from and adjacent to sulfur vacancies is delivered to be ultraselective for the reduction of O2 and •CO2− in situ formed on the shell Bi2S3 composition (hole) by water oxidation and oxidative C–C cleavage of various biomass organic acids, furnishing CO with > 99%

The Geography of Success: A Spatial Analysis of Export Intensity in the Italian Wine Industry

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the paradox of how Italy's fragmented, SME‐dominated wine industry achieves global export success. Moving beyond purely firm‐centric explanations, we test whether export intensity is spatially dependent, clustering geographically in regional ecosystems.

Direct Rebound Effect for Electricity Consumption of Urban Residents in China Based on the Spatial Spillover Effect

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
Based on methods of price decomposition and spatial econometrics, this paper improves the model for calculating the direct energy rebound effect employing the panel data of China’s urban residents’ electricity consumption for an empirical analysis ...

Cost Pass‐Through in Crisis: Evidence From the German Malt‐Beer Supply Chain

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
Abstract Global agri‐food supply chains are increasingly exposed to geopolitical shocks, climate volatility, and market consolidation, factors that disrupt traditional price relationships and reshape market power dynamics. Nowhere is this more visible than in the brewing sector, where agricultural raw materials meet complex industrial processing and ...
