Spatiotemporal Graph Neural Network Modelling Perfusion MRI [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Perfusion MRI (pMRI) offers valuable insights into tumor vascularity and promises to predict tumor genotypes, thus benefiting prognosis for glioma patients, yet effective models tailored to 4D pMRI are still lacking. This study presents the first attempt to model 4D pMRI using a GNN-based spatiotemporal model PerfGAT, integrating spatial information ...

Targeting the Adenosine‐Mediated Metabolic Immune Checkpoint with Engineered Probiotic for Enhanced Chemo‐Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 15, April 17, 2025.
This study presents engineered probiotics that convert immunosuppressive adenosine into inosine in tumors, alleviating immunosuppression and enhancing antitumor immunity. Demonstrating efficacy in murine ectopic and orthotopic tumor models, this approach offers a promising probiotic‐based cancer immunotherapy strategy, highlighting the potential of ...

MEA‐seqX: High‐Resolution Profiling of Large‐Scale Electrophysiological and Transcriptional Network Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
How can we fully understand brain function and disease without uncovering the causal coordination between molecular and neural activity across space and time? MEA‐seqX tackles this challenge by integrating advanced electrophysiology, spatial transcriptomics, and artificial intelligence predictions, revealing multiscale dynamics.

Optogenetically Activatable MLKL as a Standalone Functional Module for Necroptosis and Therapeutic Applications in Antitumoral Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 13, April 3, 2025.
Necroptosis, a key driver of disease progression, holds promise for activating antitumor immunity. The optogenetically controlled necroptosis system, optoMLKL, bypasses upstream signaling, forming functional hotspots in membranes without RIPK3 phosphorylation.

Photoacoustic Imaging in Inflammatory Orthopedic Diseases: Progress toward Precise Diagnostics and Predictive Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 14, April 10, 2025.
With the intensification of aging issues, inflammatory orthopedic diseases almost occurs in every elderly people, which are becoming increasingly severe. Persistent inflammation of joints often leads to irreversible tissue damage and loss of organ function, while early diagnosis and timely intervention are crucial for reducing the personal and social ...

Cubic Phase‐Inducible Zwitterionic Phospholipids Improve the Functional Delivery of mRNA

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 17, May 8, 2025.
In this study, a chemically engineered zwitterionic phospholipids derived from 1,2‐dioleoyl‐3‐sn‐glycero‐phosphoethanolamine (DOPE), DOPE‐Cx, are designed. The DOPE‐Cx lipids induce a cubic phase upon mixing with phosphatidylcholine, facilitate membrane fusion‐mediated endosomal escape, and enhance the functional delivery of mRNA.

FREQ‐NESS Reveals the Dynamic Reconfiguration of Frequency‐Resolved Brain Networks During Auditory Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A new analytical pipeline, FREQuency‐resolved Network Estimation via Source Separation (FREQ‐NESS), reveals how the brain at rest is organized in frequency‐specific networks and dynamically rearranges during auditory stimulation. By analyzing source‐reconstructed magnetoencephalography (MEG) data, FREQ‐NESS uncovers the networks' prominence, spatial ...
