A novel approach to speaker verification
[Proceedings] ICASSP 91: 1991 International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 1991The authors report on a novel method for telephone-based speaker verification. In this method, K-means clustering is used during training for robust speaker reference templates. The classification is made through the use of the Fourier-Bessel functions, which transform the original problem to a multidimensional detection problem.

Lightweight Embeddings for Speaker Verification
2018This paper presents speaker verification (SV) system using deep neural networks with hash representations (binarization) of embeddings. The training procedure is performed on NIST SRE train set, verification is performed on the same corpus with test set. The system architecture is based on deep recurrent layers with attention mechanism.

A FUZZY APPROACH TO SPEAKER VERIFICATION
International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, 2002This paper proposes a fuzzy approach to speaker verification. For an input utterance and a claimed identity, most of the current methods compute a claimed speaker's score, which is the ratio of the claimed speaker's and the impostors' likelihood functions, and compare this score with a given threshold to accept or reject this speaker.
