Dynamic identification of logistics critical roads based on BeiDou trajectory data
In this work, we propose a dynamic identification method of logistics critical roads based on BeiDou trajectory data considering built environment and truck behavior factors. The conformity of proposed method with reality is >85% in a case study of Hongqi town.

Transcriptomic pan‐cancer analysis using rank‐based Bayesian inference
We propose subgroup identification for pan‐cancer studies via novel rank‐based Bayesian clustering, illustrated on RNA‐seq samples from 12 tumor types. The method provides probabilistic assessments of cluster stability and transparent biological interpretation of identified clusters through their top‐ranked genes.

Rank‐based Bayesian variable selection for genome‐wide transcriptomic analyses
Variable selection is crucial in high‐dimensional omics‐based analyses, since it is biologically reasonable to assume only a subset of non‐noisy features contributes to the data structures. However, the task is particularly hard in an unsupervised setting, and a priori ad hoc variable selection is still a very frequent approach, despite the evident ...

A Comparison of Correlation Coefficients via a Three-Step Bootstrap Approach [PDF]
In this article we compare ten correlation coefficients using a three-step bootstrap approach (TSB). A three-step bootstrap is applied to determine the optimal repetitions, $B$, to estimate the standard error of the statistic with certain degree of ...

Robust risk aggregation with neural networks
Abstract We consider settings in which the distribution of a multivariate random variable is partly ambiguous. We assume the ambiguity lies on the level of the dependence structure, and that the marginal distributions are known. Furthermore, a current best guess for the distribution, called reference measure, is available.

Journal of Multivariate Analysis / Quantifying directed dependence via dimension reduction
Studying the multivariate extension of copula correlation yields a dimension reduction principle, which turns out to be strongly related with the ‘simple measure of conditional dependence’ ??recently introduced by Azadkia and Chatterjee (2021).

Collective Schedules: Axioms and Algorithms
International audienceThe collective schedules problem consists in computing a schedule of tasks shared between individuals. Tasks may have different duration, and individuals have preferences over the order of the shared tasks. This problem has numerous

Drug‐induced peripheral neuropathy is a side effect of a variety of therapeutic agents that can affect therapeutic adherence and lead to regimen modifications, impacting patient quality of life. The molecular mechanisms involved in the development of this condition have yet to be completely described in the literature.
