Many Canadian firms, particularly those affiliated with large U.S. manufacturers, find themselves in this situation. The substantive issues which influence this decision are first examined.

Since force is an extremely fundamental physical concept, the suggestion is made that the force transformations always be included with the discussion of the transformations for mass, length and time.
