Biochar‐Induced Shifts in Fungal Community Structure and Their Association With Soil Physical Properties in Degraded Soil From the Brazilian Semiarid

open access: yesLand Degradation &Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Soil degradation compromises ecosystem functioning. Biochar, a carbon‐rich amendment, has gained attention as a promising strategy to enhance soil structure and restore microbial balance. This study investigated the effects of two biochars, cashew bagasse biochar (CBB) and a co‐pyrolyzed biochar produced from sewage sludge and cashew pruning ...

Appell polynomials as values of special functions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2018
We show that there is a large class of Appell sequences {Pn(x)}n=0 ∞ for which there is a function F(s,x), entire in s for fixed x with Rex>0 and satisfying F(−n,x)=Pn(x) for n=0,1,2,….

General identities on Bell polynomials

open access: yesComputers and Mathematics With Applications, 2009
The exponential partial Bell polynomials are polynomials in an infinite number of variables x1,x2,…, and it is well-known that some special combinatorial sequences, e.g., Stirling numbers of both kinds, Lah numbers and idempotent numbers, can be obtained

Fractional calculus and generalized forms of special polynomials associated with Appell sequences

Georgian Mathematical Journal, 2019
Abstract In this article, an operational definition, generating function, explicit summation formula, determinant definition and recurrence relations of the generalized families of Hermite–Appell polynomials are derived by using integral transforms and some known operational rules.
