Certain results of hybrid families of special polynomials associated with appell sequences

open access: yesFilomat, 2019
In this article, the Legendre-Gould-Hopper polynomials are combined with Appell sequences to introduce certain mixed type special polynomials by using operational method. The generating functions, determinant definitions and certain other properties of Legendre-Gould-Hopper based Appell polynomials are derived.

Hermite–Hadamard–Fejér-Type Inequalities and Weighted Three-Point Quadrature Formulae

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
The goal of this paper is to derive Hermite–Hadamard–Fejér-type inequalities for higher-order convex functions and a general three-point integral formula involving harmonic sequences of polynomials and w-harmonic sequences of functions. In special cases,

Matrix Representations of a Special Polynomial Sequence in Arbitrary Dimension [PDF]

open access: yesComputational Methods and Function Theory, 2012
The paper is devoted to a special polynomial sequence of binomial type in \((n+1)\) real variables with values in the real vector space of paravectors in a Clifford algebra. It is shown that here the matrix multiplication admits a type of factorization that overcomes the restrictions of non-commutativity and solves some problems connected with a ...

New asymptotic expansions on hyperfactorial functions

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique, 2021
In this paper, by using the Bernoulli numbers and the exponential complete Bell polynomials, we establish four general asymptotic expansions for the hyperfactorial functions $\prod _{k=1}^n {k^{k^q}}$, which have only odd power terms or even power terms.

Sequences of Groups, Hypergroups and Automata of Linear Ordinary Differential Operators

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
The main objective of our paper is to focus on the study of sequences (finite or countable) of groups and hypergroups of linear differential operators of decreasing orders.

Degenerate Lah–Bell polynomials arising from degenerate Sheffer sequences

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
Umbral calculus is one of the important methods for obtaining the symmetric identities for the degenerate version of special numbers and polynomials. Recently, Kim–Kim (J. Math. Anal. Appl.

λ-q-Sheffer sequence and its applications

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2022
Recently, Kim-Kim [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 493 (2021), no. 1] introduced the degenerate Sheffer sequence and λ-Sheffer sequence. The purpose of this article is to study λ-q-Sheffer sequence and the degenerate q-Sheffer sequence, which are derived from the ...

Melham's sums for some Lucas polynomial sequences [PDF]

open access: yesNotes on Number Theory and Discrete Mathematics
A Lucas polynomial sequence is a pair of generalized polynomial sequences that satisfy the Lucas recurrence relation. Special cases include Fibonacci polynomials, Lucas polynomials, and Balancing polynomials.
