A Special Class of C 3 Rational Quartic Spline Curves for Two-Harmonic Trajectory Synthesis
1995This paper develops an algorithm for constructing C 3 continuous rational quartic B-spline curves such that each rational Bezier curve segment corresponds to a two-harmonic trajectory pattern. Such smooth low-harmonic spline curves can be used for synthesizing robot joint trajectories that are least susceptible to vibrational excitation.

On the derivatives of a special family of B-spline curves
2001Summary: This paper is devoted to the geometrical examination of a family of B-spline curves resulted by the modification of one of their knot values. These curves form a surface, the other parameter lines of which are the paths of the points of the original curve at a fixed parameter value. The first and second derivatives of these curves are examined

Engineering for Rural Development
In the study of various spatial engineering problems (e.g. heat and mass transfer in multilayer media, diffusion and combustion processes), it is necessary to use 3-D partial differential equations (PDE), the solving of which is difficult. Therefore, in solving these problems, we apply the conservative averaging method.

On a special interpolation problem of functional B-spline curves
2002Summary: A multistep interpolation method is presented in this paper by which one can compute a planar functional B-spline curve from its gradient function with special endconditions. The method is applied in turbine blade section curve design where the curve consists of two interpolating B-spline arcs connecting two predefined circular arcs.
