Cosmic ray propagation time scales: lessons from radioactive nuclei and positron data [PDF]
We take a fresh look at high energy radioactive nuclei data reported in the 90's and at the positron data recently reported by PAMELA. Our aim is to study the model independent implications of these data for the propagation time scales of cosmic rays in ...

This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Apomixis in Genista salzmannii DC. (Fabaceae) [PDF]
Genista apomixis is described for the first time in two populations of Genista salzmannii DC.: the first is diploid and the second one tetraploid. There was no female meiosis and the megaspore mother cell functioned as an unreduced megaspore, which led ...

Field Theoretical Approach to Electrochemical Deposition
In this work we present an application of the lambda-phi^4 field theoretical model to the adsorption of atoms and molecules on metallic surfaces - the electrochemical deposition.

We introduce a new definition for the species of type B, or H-species, analog to the classical species (of type A), but on which we consider the action of the groups Bn of signed permutations. We are interested in algebraic structure on these H-species and give examples of Hopf monoids. The natural way to get a graded vector space from a species, given

3D‐Printed Sulfur‐Derived Polymers With Controlled Architectures for Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries
Rheology‐guided formulation design for direct ink writing enables the fabrication of 3D sulfur copolymer cathodes with controlled architectures for lithium‐sulfur batteries. The printed electrodes exhibit multiscale porosity and high sulfur utilization, delivering enhanced electrochemical performance compared to conventional cast electrodes.
