The Emerging 4D Printing of Shape‐Memory Thermomorphs for Self‐Adaptative Biomedical Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
4D printing enables the creation of smart implants that adapt to changing conditions in the human body over time. At the core of this technology are shape‐memory thermomorphs (SMTMs). This review offers an in‐depth analysis of 4D printing with SMTMs, emphasizing the latest advancements in smart materials, stimuli, programming principles, and their ...

Al₂O₃‐Functionalized Carbon Nanomembranes with Enhanced Water Permeance and Selectivity for Efficient Air Dehumidification

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Carbon nanomembranes with ultra‐thin Al2O3 functionalization are less than 15 nm thin and exhibit outstanding permeation performance with a water vapor/nitrogen selectivity higher than 1 × 104, twice that of pristine CNMs, and an exceptionally high water vapor permeation rate for potential applications in air dehumidification.

Redescription of Bicotyle reticulata (Monogenea: Heteraxinidae) from Pampus punctatissimus (Scombriformes: Stromateidae) in the Seto Inland Sea, Japan

open access: yesSpecies Diversity
Bicotyle reticulata (Goto, 1894) (Monogenea: Heteraxinidae) is redescribed from the gills of Pampus punctatissimus (Temminck and Schlegel, 1845) in the Seto Inland Sea, Japan. Although its taxonomic position had been frequently revised, B.
