Specific Emitter Identification via Convolutional Neural Networks
IEEE Communications Letters, 2018Specific emitter identification (SEI) is a technique that distinguishes between unique emitters using the external feature measurements from their transmit signals, primarily radio frequency fingerprints. The SEI has been widely adopted for military and civilian spectrum management applications.

Nonlinearity Estimation for Specific Emitter Identification in Multipath Channels
IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, 2011We present a radio frequency (RF) front-end nonlinearity estimator that is based on the knowledge of a training sequence to perform specific emitter identification (SEI), which discerns radio emitters of interest. Design and fabrication variations provide unique signal signatures for each emitter, and we extract those characteristics through the ...

Specific Emitter Identification Via Multiple Distorted Receivers
2019 IEEE International Conference on Communications Workshops (ICC Workshops), 2019Specific emitter identification (SEI) is a technique that identifies different emitters based on specific characteristics of each individual emitter, which finds broad applications in wireless communication authentication, radio monitoring, electromagnetic environment sensing, and information warfare.

Convex Frechet Distance in Specific Emitter Identification
2020 15th IEEE International Conference on Signal Processing (ICSP), 2020Specific emitter identification (SEI) currently plays an important role in electronic warfare. This technology is used to distinguish different emitters of the same system through a certain distance function to measure the similarity between the fingerprint feature of unknown target and each standard feature in the template library, and finally make an

Applying the frechet distance to the specific emitter identification
2016 IEEE 13th International Conference on Signal Processing (ICSP), 2016Nowadays, much attention in electronic warfare is paid to the Specific Emitter Identification (SEI), which seems to be one of the most difficult subjects in the field. The principal function of the SEI is recognizing the different radar devices of the same type. In most cases, classical methods of identification could not be enough to realize the task.

Specific Emitter Identification Over Fading Channels
2019 International Conference on Range Technology (ICORT), 2019In this paper, specific emitter identification(SEI) problem has been investigated over fading channel. Different emitters are distinguished by the non-linear nature of the power amplifiers used by the emitters. This non-linearity is the fingerprint for the specific emitters. Based on this non-linearity SEI problem is solved.
