Discriminative adversarial networks for specific emitter identification [PDF]

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2020
The crucial issue in specific emitter identification (SEI) is the extraction of fingerprint features which can represent the differences among individual emitters of the same type. Considering that these emitters have the same intentional modulation on pulse, the fingerprint features originated from the unintentional modulation on pulse are extremely ...

Survey of Cross-scenario Specific Emitter Identification Technology

open access: yesLeida xuebao
Specific Emitter Identification (SEI) relies on subtle differences in the radio frequency fingerprints of device-emitted signals to determine the emitter identity attributes.

Specific Emitter Identification Based on Software-Defined Radio and Decision Fusion

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
Specific emitter identification (SEI) uses the unintentional modulation information carried by the emitter waveform, i.e., radio frequency fingerprints, to realize the matching identification of the received signal and its corresponding emitter.

High-precision symbol timing algorithm for specific emitter identification

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2018
The existing symbol timing algorithms have the problems that the method of delay estimation is improper and the calculation precision of the interpolation is insufficient for the pretreatment of specific emitter identification.A high-precision symbol ...

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Robustness of Deep Learning-Based Specific Emitter Identification under Adversarial Attacks

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
Deep learning (DL)-based specific emitter identification (SEI) technique can automatically extract radio frequency (RF) fingerprint features in RF signals to distinguish between legal and illegal devices and enhance the security of wireless network ...

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
