Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

This study explores the feasibility of expressing the antitumoral protein Amblyomin‐X through a suicide gene therapy approach and investigates its intracellular fate after gene delivery. Although the gene is efficiently expressed, melanoma cells rapidly degrade the Amblyomin‐X protein via proteasome activity.

Specific emitter identification with different transmission codes and multiple receivers [PDF]
A specific emitter identification (SEI) system that expands previously-published results by identifying remote keyless-entry (RKE) remotes with an accuracy of over 95% even when different digital transmission codes are used is described.

Specific Emitter Identification Using Adaptive Signal Feature Embedded Knowledge Graph
Specific emitter identification (SEI) plays an important role in secure Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). In recent years, many SEI methods based on machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) have been proposed due to their great performance ...

Despite frogs avoiding low temperatures, examination of four salamander species revealed that none avoided cold and all possessed cold tolerance. Functional analysis of TRPM8, a cold sensor, showed that all salamander TRPM8s had lost their cold sensitivity.

Research on an Enhanced Multimodal Network for Specific Emitter Identification
Specific emitter identification (SEI) refers to the task of distinguishing similar emitters, especially those of the same type and transmission parameters, which is one of the most critical tasks of electronic warfare. However, SEI is still a challenging

Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.
