Tailored Hierarchical Porous Copper Architectures via Three Dimensional Printing and Pressure‐less Sintering for Next‐Generation Lithium‐Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A hierarchical porous copper current collector is fabricated via three‐dimensional printing combined with pressureless sintering to stabilize lithium metal anodes. The interconnected architecture lowers local current density, guides uniform Li deposition within pores, and suppresses dendrite growth.

Specific heat of bone

Medical & Biological Engineering, 1976
The specific heat of dry bone, as well as decalcified bone, obtained from bovine femur samples are measured as a function of temperature in the range 200 to 390K, using a differential-scanning-calorimetry technique. Special sample pans for volatile materials were used to provide a uniform thermal environment and to eliminate errors due to the ...

Specific Heat

1983
Abstract Specific heat is a fundamental property that relates the total heat per unit mass added to a system to the resultant temperature change of the system. This chapter begins with the definition and historical development of specific heat.

Specific heat of holmium and terbium

Physica Status Solidi (a), 1979
The lattice heat capacity of holmium and terbium is calculated using the frequency distribution function obtained from a lattice dynamical model for h.c.p. metals based on Keating's approach. The magnetic contribution to the specific heat of these rare earth metals is evaluated by subtracting the lattice and electronic contributions from the Cv data of

Specific heat in nonequilibrium systems

Physical Review E, 2001
We propose a general framework of calculating the specific heat of the system in nonequilibrium, where the dynamics of the representative point can be separated into fast motion in a basin of energy landscape and the slow stochastic jump motion among basins. We apply this framework to gaseous hydrogen and obtain the observation time (t(obs)) dependence
