Multiplicative electronic speckle-pattern interferometry fringes
Applied Optics, 2000A theoretical analysis of fringe patterns and its experimental corroboration obtained by multiplication of two speckled images with electronic speckle-pattern interferometry (ESPI) are reported. A specifically designed digital filter is used to enhance the contrast and visibility of the inherently noisy multiplication fringes.

Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry
Topical Meeting on Holography, 1986Holographic workstations are now enabling the advantages of Holographic Interferometry (HI) to be taken outside research laboratories and placed alongside manufacturing equipment. Most rigidization problems have been overcome but two handicaps still limit its widespread application.

Electronic speckle pattern interferometry using vortex beams
Optics Letters, 2011We show that it is possible to perform electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) using, for the first time to our knowledge, vortex beams as the reference beam. The technique we propose is easy to implement, and the advantages obtained are, among others, environmental stability, lower processing time, and the possibility to switch between ...

Electronic speckle pattern interferometry
Physics in Technology, 1980Historically, the concept of replacing the photographic emulsion by video recording and display occured to several independent groups almost simultanously. Macovsky(1) in USA, Schwomma(2) in Austria and Kopf(3) in West-Germany considered the technique to be based on pure holography.

Multilaser digital speckle pattern interferometry system
SPIE Proceedings, 2005A novel digital speckle pattern interferometry system including multi lower power He-Ne lasers to measure large object is presented in this paper. Multi lower power He-Ne lasers and optical switches are set in it. Through the control of computer, the different laser can illuminate the different area of large object at different time.

Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry
SPIE Proceedings, 1987AbstractThe basic principles of electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) are described, stressing its close similarity to hologram interferometry. The technique's applications for vibration anddeformation testing within industrial and medical research are outlined. Future developments are discussed.

Speckle Pattern Interferometry of Vibration Modes
IBM Journal of Research and Development, 1976An optical facility is described for the study of the vibrational behavior of engineering test pieces. Time-average holography and electronic speckle pattern methods of analysis are combined into one system. The speckle pattern method is used for the identification of resonances, frequency tuning, and object alignment, thereby optimizing the number of ...

Electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI)
Optics and Lasers in Engineering, 1989Abstract Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry (ESPI) is becoming a very common test and measurement tool among industrial users. In its present form it rivals any current techniques for speed and ease of use. With improvements in image quality it has the potential to become the definitive tool for non-destructive testing.

Temporal heterodyne shearing speckle pattern interferometry
Optics and Lasers in Engineering, 2017Abstract Shearing speckle pattern interferometry is a full-field speckle interferometric technique used to determine surface displacement derivatives. In this paper, a new measurement system of real-time heterodyne shearography interferometry is presented.

Dynamic Holographic-Electronic Speckle-Pattern Interferometry
Journal of Applied Mechanics, 1993The development of a nondestructive, full-field, quantitative optical technique, and its feasibility to study dynamic deformations of opaque and diffusively reflecting solids under transient loads, are discussed. The technique involves recording a sequence of dynamically changing two-beam speckle interference patterns (also called holographic speckle ...
