Double Pulse-electronic Speckle Interferometry [PDF]
In this paper we describe a double-pulsed electronic speckle interferometry system. Two separated speckle patterns are recorded within few microseconds using a charge-coupled device camera, the two images are then stored in a frame grabber and the subtraction method is applied.

Quantitative Stain Mapping in X‐Ray Virtual Histology
Virtual histology promises 3D tissue examination without physical sectioning, yet has lacked the tissue‐specificity of conventional pathology. This work demonstrates the first quantitative three‐dimensional stain mapping at histologically relevant resolution, separating contrast agent from tissue to reveal cellular features such as nuclei. The approach

Multi-Modal X-ray Imaging and Analysis for Characterization of Urinary Stones
Backgound: The composition of stones formed in the urinary tract plays an important role in their management over time. The most common imaging method for the non-invasive evaluation of urinary stones is radiography and computed tomography (CT). However,

The multiplicity of massive stars in the Orion Nebula cluster as seen with long-baseline interferometry [PDF]
The characterization of multiple stellar systems is an important ingredient for testing current star formation models. Stars are more often found in multiple systems, the more massive they are.

ABSTRACT We present a new end‐to‐end neural network approach for real‐time biological cell detection and classification via label‐free quantitative imaging flow cytometry based on digital holography, offering a comprehensive representation of cellular structures without the need for chemical cell staining. In contrast to previous studies, our method is

Convolutional neural network optimisation to enhance ESPI fringe visibility
The use of convolutional neuronal networks (CNN) for the treatment of interferometric fringes has been introduced in recent years. In this paper, we optimize and build a CNN model, based U-NET architecture, to maximize its performance processing ...
