Speckle Tracking and Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy
Background: Amyloidosis is a disease caused by deposits of insoluble fibrils in extracellular spaces. The most common type of familial amyloidosis is mediated by mutation of transthyretin, especially Val30Met.

speckle-tracking: a software suite for ptychographic X-ray speckle tracking [PDF]
In recent years, X-ray speckle-tracking techniques have emerged as viable tools for wavefront metrology and sample imaging applications. These methods are based on the measurement of near-field images. Thanks to their simple experimental setup, high angular sensitivity and compatibility with low-coherence sources, these methods have been actively ...

Ptychographic X-ray speckle tracking [PDF]
A method is presented for the measurement of the phase gradient of a wavefront by tracking the relative motion of speckles in projection holograms as a sample is scanned across the wavefront. By removing the need to obtain an undistorted reference image of the sample, this method is suitable for the metrology of highly divergent wavefields.

Speckle tracking approaches in speckle sensing [PDF]
This paper reports some initial investigations into the application of feature tracking algorithms as an alternative data processing method for speckle correlation sensors capable of determining both the speckle pattern translation and rotation. The accuracy of translation measurements using the feature tracking approach was found to be similar to that

MODERN POSSIBILITIES OF SPECKLE TRACKING ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY IN CLINICAL PRACTICE
Speckle-tracking echocardiography is promising modern technique for evaluation of structural and functional changes in the myocardium. It evaluates the indicator of global longitudinal myocardial deformation, which is more sensitive than ejection ...

X-ray multi-modal intrinsic-speckle-tracking [PDF]
Abstract We develop x-ray multi-modal intrinsic-speckle-tracking (MIST), a form of x-ray speckle-tracking that is able to recover both the position-dependent phase shift and the position-dependent small-angle x-ray scattering (SAXS) signal of a phase object. MIST is based on combining a Fokker–Planck description of paraxial x-ray optics,
