Bi‐embeddability spectra and bases of spectra [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Logic Quarterly, 2019
AbstractWe study degree spectra of structures with respect to the bi‐embeddability relation. The bi‐embeddability spectrum of a structure is the family of Turing degrees of its bi‐embeddable copies. To facilitate our study we introduce the notions of bi‐embeddable triviality and basis of a spectrum.

Concurrent occurrence of a wandering spleen, organoaxial gastric volvulus, pancreatic volvulus, and cholestasis – A rare cause of an acute abdomen

open access: yesRadiology Case Reports, 2019
The concurrence of wandering spleen, organoaxial gastric volvulus, and pancreatic volvulus is very rare. They have been associated with symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, abdominal distention, and vomiting. However, the diagnosis remains complicated

Short‐duration post CT‐guided thoracic biopsy monitoring‐ clinical experience with 440 patients

open access: yesJournal of Medical Radiation Sciences, 2019
Purpose With several studies recording a higher percentage of complications in the first hour of post‐biopsy, this study sought to evaluate the safety in the reduction in post‐biopsy patient monitoring time after computed tomography (CT)‐guided thoracic ...

Classification of Bee Pollen and Prediction of Sensory and Colorimetric Attributes—A Sensometric Fusion Approach by e-Nose, e-Tongue and NIR

open access: yesSensors, 2020
The chemical composition of bee pollens differs greatly and depends primarily on the botanical origin of the product. Therefore, it is a crucially important task to discriminate pollens of different plant species.

PPT from spectra

open access: yes, 2005
In this contribution we solve the following problem. Let H_{nm} be a Hilbert space of dimension nm, and let A be a positive semidefinite self-adjoint linear operator on H_{nm}. Under which conditions on the spectrum has A a positive partial transpose (is

Energy spectra of X-ray quasi-periodic oscillations in accreting black hole binaries [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We investigate the energy dependencies of X-ray quasi-periodic oscillations in black hole X-ray binaries. We analyze RXTE data on both the low- and high-frequency QPO.

The Morita equivalence between parametrized spectra and module spectra

open access: yes, 2017
We give a Quillen equivalence between May and Sigurdsson's model category of parametrized spectra over BG, and Mandell, May, Schwede, and Shipley's model category of modules over the orthogonal ring spectrum \Sigma^\infty_+ G, for each topological group ...
