SPECTRAL-DOMAIN OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY IN IRVINE–GASS SYNDROME

Retina, 2012
To report longitudinal evaluation of morphology and function, by spectral-domain optical coherence tomography and Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study visual acuity, respectively, in patients with cystoid macular edema after cataract surgery (Irvine-Gass syndrome).Fifteen eyes (15 patients) with a diagnosis of cystoid macular edema related to ...

Coherent noise compensation in Spectral-Domain optical coherence tomography

Optics and Spectroscopy, 2009
An efficient technique for the separation of and compensation for coherent noise in spectral optical coherence tomography with parallel spectrum detection is proposed and validated. The coherent noise is separated during one exposure by modulating the mutual delay of the signal and reference waves by a certain law.

Spectral-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography Appearance of a Retinal Nematode

Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers and Imaging Retina, 2013
A 65-year-old man presented with decreased visual acuity in his left eye of 10 days’ duration. Ocular examination revealed visual acuity of 20/200 in the left eye caused by a visible retinal nematode (roundworm) located close to the fovea. Spectral-domain optical coherence tomography imaging showed the nematode in the retinal nerve fiber layer.

Enhanced Depth Imaging Spectral-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography

American Journal of Ophthalmology, 2008
To describe a method to obtain images of the choroid using conventional spectral-domain (SD) optical coherence tomography (OCT) and to evaluate choroidal thickness measurements using these images.Observational case series. The images were obtained by positioning the SD OCT device close enough to the eye to obtain an inverted representation of the fundus

Spectral-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography Findings in Lipemia Retinalis

Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers and Imaging Retina, 2016
Severe hypertriglyceridemia can give rise to a fundus appearance with whitish-colored retinal vessels called lipemia retinalis. A 52-year-old man with hypertriglyceridemia presented with a best-corrected visual acuity of 20/20 in both eyes and creamy-white retinal vessels on fundus.

Spectral domain-optical coherence tomography analysis of choroidal osteoma

British Journal of Ophthalmology, 2011
To assess spectral domain-optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) contribution to choroidal osteoma characterisation.A retrospective chart review of a series of patients diagnosed with choroidal osteoma, which included patient, clinical, ultrasonographic, photographic and SD-OCT imaging.11 patients were included in this series.

Spectral-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography of the Choroid in Choroidal Osteoma

Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers and Imaging Retina, 2011
The authors report spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) findings in a patient with decalcifying choroidal osteoma accompanied by a choroidal neovascular membrane and serous retinal detachment. A 13-year-old girl was found to have a choroidal osteoma in the left eye.

Vitreopapillary Traction Diagnosed by Spectral Domain Optical Coherence Tomography

Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers and Imaging Retina, 2010
This report describes a case of vitreopapillary traction with right inferior altitudinal defect similar to anterior ischemic optic neuropathy. A 35-year-old man with inferior altitudinal defect in his right eye was referred. The right optic disc was elevated and the superior disc margin was blurred. Spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT)

Detection of Glaucomatous Progression by Spectral-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography

Ophthalmology, 2013
To compare the rate of change of circumpapillary retinal nerve fiber layer (cRNFL) thickness, macular volume and thickness, and optic nerve head (ONH) parameters assessed using spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) between eyes with progressing and nonprogressing glaucoma.Longitudinal, observational study. Two hundred seventy-nine eyes ...
