Enhanced Depth Imaging Spectral-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography
American Journal of Ophthalmology, 2008To describe a method to obtain images of the choroid using conventional spectral-domain (SD) optical coherence tomography (OCT) and to evaluate choroidal thickness measurements using these images.Observational case series. The images were obtained by positioning the SD OCT device close enough to the eye to obtain an inverted representation of the fundus

Spectral domain second-harmonic optical coherence tomography
Optics Letters, 2005Optical coherence tomography (OCT) provides micrometer-scale structural imaging by coherent detection of backscattered light. Molecular contrast in OCT has been demonstrated using transient absorption, coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering, and second-harmonic (SH) generation.

WIDE-FIELD SPECTRAL DOMAIN OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY
Retina, 2015To describe wide-field spectral domain optical coherence tomography morphologic relationships of the vitreous, retina, and choroid in healthy and pathologic eyes.Standardized horizontal, vertical, and two oblique (supertemporal to inferonasal and supranasal to inferotemporal) spectral domain optical coherence tomography sections were collected for each

Polarization sensitive spectral domain optical coherence tomography
SPIE Proceedings, 2005We developed a polarization sensitive spectral domain optical coherence tomography (PS-SD-OCT) system. To demonstrate the performance of our system we measured the distribution of retardation of a highly birefringent plastic sample. We recorded also images of intensity and retardation of the fovea region and the optic nerve head of a healthy volunteer.

COMMOTIO RETINAE WITH SPECTRAL-DOMAIN OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY
Retina, 2011To characterize retinal changes in areas of commotio retinae using spectral-domain optical coherence tomography. In this retrospective observational case series, we included 14 eyes of 14 patients who had experienced blunt ocular trauma and underwent spectral-domain optical coherence tomography and fundus photography evaluation on the same day.

FEASIBILITY OF INTRASURGICAL SPECTRAL-DOMAIN OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY
Retina, 2011To evaluate the feasibility of intrasurgical spectral-domain optical coherence tomography in a pilot study.Using a Carl Zeiss Meditec Cirrus HD-OCT system adapted to the optical pathway of a Zeiss OPMI VISU 200 surgical microscope, 512 × 128 macular cube scans were performed during various steps of microsurgical procedures in 25 cases.

Spectral domain optical coherence tomography findings in myotonic dystrophy
Neuromuscular Disorders, 2020The purpose of the study is to evaluate retinal involvement in a cohort of patients affected by Myotonic Dystrophy type 1 (DM1). Both eyes of 30 patients and one eye of a 31st patient with genetically proven diagnosis of DM1 and both eyes of 20 healthy age- and gender-matched subjects were enrolled.
