Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

Study on defect type in eddy-current testing based on phase spectrum analysis
This article proposes the use of phase angle gradient as a feature to detect and classify different types of defects. Based on the principle of eddy-current testing (ECT), the ECT platform was designed and manufactured.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

The Suppression Method of Raman Laser Thermal Effect for Sensitive Samples
Laser-micro confocal Raman spectroscopy is widely used to study molecular structure, bonding effects. loading, and bternal stress. The signal intensity and quality of Raman spectra are particularly important for the analysis. However.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Stability of an additive-quadratic functional equation in modular spaces
Using the direct method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of the following functional equation: ϕ(x+y,z+w)+ϕ(x−y,z−w)−2ϕ(x,z)−2ϕ(x,w)=0\phi \left(x+y,z+w)+\phi \left(x-y,z-w)-2\phi \left(x,z)-2\phi \left(x,w)=0 in ρ\rho -complete convex modular ...
