Spectral calibration of exponential Lévy Models [1] [PDF]

open access: yes
We investigate the problem of calibrating an exponential Lévy model based on market prices of vanilla options. We show that this inverse problem is in general severely ill-posed and we derive exact minimax rates of convergence.

Spectral calibration at the picometer level on SCDU (spectral calibration development unit)

open access: yes, 2008
SCDU (Spectral Calibration Development Unit) is a vacuum test bed that was built and operated for the SIM-Planetquest Mission and has successfully demonstrated the calibration of spectral instrument error to an accuracy of better than 20 picometers. This

Global Rather Than Vertical‐Selective Saccadic Abnormalities in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To test whether vertical saccades are preferentially affected in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). Methods PSP patients (n = 24) were compared to age‐matched controls (n = 94) and two degenerative groups (Alzheimer's disease, n = 20; Lewy body disease, n = 50).

Calibration, validation and the NERC Airborne Remote Sensing Facility

open access: yes, 2004
The application of airborne and satellite remote sensing to terrestrial applications has been dominated by empirically-based, semi-quantitative approaches, in contrast to those developed in the marine and atmospheric sciences which have often developed ...

Integrated PANoptosis Profiling Identifies Immunosuppressive Subtypes and a Prognostic Signature With Functional Validation of MLKL in Glioblastoma

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective The prognosis of glioblastoma (GBM) remains highly unfavorable, largely due to high tumor heterogeneity and an immunosuppressive microenvironment. However, the functional role of PANoptosis in this context is poorly understood. Methods Patients were stratified via K‐means clustering. A risk score model was constructed using prognosis‐

Spectral image analysis for measuring ripeness of tomatoes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
In this study, spectral images of five ripeness stages of tomatoes have been recorded and analyzed. The electromagnetic spectrum between 396 and 736 nm was recorded in 257 bands (every 1.3 nm).

Evaluation of Dried Plasma Spot‐Based Quantification of Glial Fibrillary Acidic Protein as a Disease‐Associated Biomarker in Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) measured in dried plasma spots versus conventional plasma‐ and serum‐GFAP testing for assessment of disease severity in aquaporin‐4 immunoglobulin G–positive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (AQP4‐IgG+ NMOSD).

Anorectal Dysfunction in Systemic Sclerosis: Clinical Phenotypes and Functional Patterns

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective The aim of this study was to characterize specific physiologic defects in anorectal dysfunction in systemic sclerosis (SSc) using anorectal manometry (ARM), evaluate associations with gastrointestinal (GI) and extraintestinal clinical phenotypes, and explore potential serologic markers for risk stratification.
