Mapping litter decomposition by remote-detected indicators
Leaf litter decomposition is a key process for the functioning of natural ecosystems. An important limiting factor for this process is detritus availability, which we have estimated by remote sensed indices of canopy green biomass (NDVI).

Hyperspectral Image Super-Resolution Algorithm Based on Graph Regular Tensor Ring Decomposition
This paper introduces a novel hyperspectral image super-resolution algorithm based on graph-regularized tensor ring decomposition aimed at resolving the challenges of hyperspectral image super-resolution.

Spectral Decomposition of Signaling Networks [PDF]
Many dynamical processes can be represented as directed attributed graphs or Petri nets where relationships between various entities are explicitly expressed. Signaling networks modeled as Petri nets are one class of such graphical modeling and representations. These networks encode how different protein in specific compartments, interact to create new

The Källén-Lehmann representation in de Sitter spacetime
We study two-point functions of symmetric traceless local operators in the bulk of de Sitter spacetime. We derive the Källén-Lehmann spectral decomposition for any spin and show that unitarity implies its spectral densities are nonnegative.

Hydrocarbon reserves within the middle Jurassic deposits are predominantly classified as hard-to-recover. The legislation of the Russian Federation stimulates extraction of this type of reserves by providing tax incentives, which currently make field ...

This paper proposes a curvature demodulation of Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) sensors based on complete spectral information. An MZI sensor composed of two waist-enlarged single mode fibers (SMFs) was fabricated.

Spectral decomposition and Gelfand’s theorem [PDF]
In this paper we are interested in spectral decomposition of an unbounded operator with discrete spectrum. We show that if $A$ generates a polynomially bounded $n$-times integrated group whose spectrum set $σ(A)=\{iλ_k; k\in\mathbb{Z}^* \}$ is discrete and satisfies $\sum \frac{1}{|λ_k|^\ellδ_k^n}

Duality and asymptotic spectral decompositions [PDF]
Decomposable operators in the sense of C. Foiaş are operators in a Banach space, for which a reasonably rich supply of invariant subspaces with reasonable spectral localization properties exist. A variety of this notion has been considered in the literature, and the introduction of this paper gives a good review of the main classes of these operators ...
