Electromagnetohydrodynamic (EMHD) Flow in a Microchannel with Random Surface Roughness
This study investigates the effect of small random transverse wall roughness on electromagnetohydrodynamic (EMHD) flow is in a microchannel, employing the perturbation method based upon stationary random function theory.

Temporal Coherence Estimators for GBSAR
Many Ground-Based Synthetic Aperture Radar (GBSAR) applications demand preliminary analysis to select areas with high-quality signal. That is, areas in which the phase can be processed to extract the desired information. The interferometric coherence and

Estimating Spectral Density Functions Robustly
We consider in the following the problem of robust spectral density estimation. Unfortunately, conventional spectral density estimators are not robust in the presence of additive outliers (cf. [18]).

Spectral properties of the generalized diluted Wishart ensemble
The celebrated Marčenko–Pastur law, that considers the asymptotic spectral density of random covariance matrices, has found a great number of applications in physics, biology, economics, engineering, among others.

Sublinear time spectral density estimation
We present a new sublinear time algorithm for approximating the spectral density (eigenvalue distribution) of an $n\times n$ normalized graph adjacency or Laplacian matrix. The algorithm recovers the spectrum up to $ε$ accuracy in the Wasserstein-1 distance in $O(n\cdot \text{poly}(1/ε))$ time given sample access to the graph.

Discrimination of spectral density
Experiments were performed to determine the ability of human listeners to discriminate between a sound with a large number of spectral components in a band, of given characteristic frequency and bandwidth, and a sound with a smaller number of components in that band.
