Parity as Z2 ‐valued spectral flow [PDF]
This note is about the topology of the path space of linear Fredholm operators on a real Hilbert space. Fitzpatrick and Pejsachowicz introduced the parity of such a path, based on the Leray–Schauder degree of a path of parametrices.

Recently we showed that the spectral flow acting on the N=2 twisted topological theories gives rise to a topological algebra automorphism. Here we point out that the untwisting of that automorphism leads to a spectral flow on the untwisted N=2 super-conformal algebra which is different from the usual one.

Sphalerons, spectral flow, and anomalies [PDF]
The topology of configuration space may be responsible in part for the existence of sphalerons. Here, sphalerons are defined to be static but unstable finite-energy solutions of the classical field equations. Another manifestation of the nontrivial topology of configuration space is the phenomenon of spectral flow for the eigenvalues of the Dirac ...

Spectral flow for pair compatible equipartitions [PDF]
We show that a recent spectral flow approach proposed by Berkolaiko–Cox–Marzuola for analyzing the nodal deficiency of the nodal partition associated to an eigenfunction can be extended to more general partitions.

Spectral Flow Cytometry Methods and Pipelines for Comprehensive Immunoprofiling of Human Peripheral Blood and Bone Marrow. [PDF]
Profiling hematopoietic and immune cells provides important information about disease risk, disease status, and therapeutic responses. Spectral flow cytometry enables high-dimensional single-cell evaluation of large cohorts in a high-throughput manner ...

Detecting Förster resonance energy transfer in living cells by conventional and spectral flow cytometry. [PDF]
Assays based on Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) can be used to study many processes in cell biology. Although this is most often done with microscopy for fluorescence detection, we report two ways to measure FRET in living cells by flow ...

Spectral flow cytometry—Quo vadimus? [PDF]
FOR 40 years, flow cytometry has been dominated by polychromatic flow cytometry. Despite the fact that Fulwyler’s instrument (1) was based on Coulter volume, fluorescence became the dominant technology within a very few years.

Spectral Flow of Monopole Insertion in Topological Insulators [PDF]
Inserting a magnetic flux into a two-dimensional one-particle Hamiltonian leads to a spectral flow through a given gap which is equal to the Chern number of the associated Fermi projection. This paper establishes a generalization to higher even dimension
