Reducing the spectral index in supernatural inflation [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2009
Supernatural inflation is an attractive model based just on a flat direction with soft SUSY breaking mass terms in the framework of supersymmetry. The beauty of the model is inferred from its name that the model needs no fine-tuning. However, the prediction of the spectral index is $n_s \gae 1$, in contrast to experimental data.

Spectral index of the diffuse radio background between 50 and 100 MHz [PDF]

open access: yesMonthly notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 2018
We report the spectral index of diffuse radio emission between 50 and 100 MHz from data collected with two implementations of the Experiment to Detect the Global EoR Signature (EDGES) low-band system.

A radio spectral index map and catalogue at 147-1400 MHz covering 80 per cent of the sky [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The radio spectral index is a powerful probe for classifying cosmic radio sources and understanding the origin of the radio emission. Combining data at 147 MHz and 1.4 GHz from the TIFR GMRT Sky Survey (TGSS) and the NRAO VLA Sky Survey (NVSS), we ...

Sensitivity of a Ratio Vegetation Index Derived from Hyperspectral Remote Sensing to the Brown Planthopper Stress on Rice Plants

open access: yesSensors, 2019
Remote sensing end-products related to vegetation have potential applications in monitoring the health of crops. The sensitivity of a spectral index to crop stress determines its application prospect.
