Image Fusion for High-Resolution Optical Satellites Based on Panchromatic Spectral Decomposition
Ratio transformation methods are widely used for image fusion of high-resolution optical satellites. The premise for the use the ratio transformation is that there is a zero-bias linear relationship between the panchromatic band and the corresponding ...

The aim of this paper is to investigate the evolution of the 12C/13C ratio along the AGB through the circumstellar 12CO/13CO ratio. This is the first time a sample including a significant number of M- and S-type stars is analysed together with a carbon ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Shear viscosity from Kubo formalism: NJL-model study
A large-$N_{\rm c}$ expansion is combined with the Kubo formalism to study the shear viscosity $\eta$ of strongly interacting matter in the two-flavor NJL model.

Statistical Analysis of Noise Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratios (HVSR)
Statistical properties of the horizontal to vertical spectral ratios (hvsr) applied to noise recording are analyzed in order to define optimal strategies for numerical processing and identification of possible artifacts. To this purpose, two time series have been analyzed: one constituted by environmental seismic noise in the presence of a genuine ...

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Jupiter: Its infrared spectrum from 10 to 40 microns [PDF]
Spectral measurements of the thermal radiation from Jupiter in the 16-40 micrometer band were analyzed under the assumption that pressure broadened H2 transitions are responsible for the bulk of the infrared opacity over most of this spectral interval ...

Comparative analysis of chloroplast genomes from 14 genera of Thymelaeaceae revealed variation in gene content, ranging from 128 to 142 genes, primarily influenced by IR expansion/contraction events and pseudogenization of ndhF, ndhI, and ndhG. Two large inversions were detected within the large single‐copy region, including a synapomorphic inversion ...
