United Iterative Reconstruction for Spectral Computed Tomography

IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, 2015
Spectral computed tomography (CT) has attracted considerable attention because of its energy-resolving capability in identifying and discriminating materials. The use of a narrow energy bin can improve energy resolution. However, a narrow energy bin has high noise ratio, which degrades the imaging quality of spectral CT.

Spectral CT reconstruction using image sparsity and spectral correlation

2015 IEEE 12th International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI), 2015
Spectral data across energy bins are highly correlated but the signal to noise ratio is generally poor for each energy bin due to the narrow bin width and resultant quantum noise. To address this problem, in this paper we propose a spectral CT reconstruction approach that simultaneously reconstructs x-ray attenuation coefficients in all the energy bins,

Spectral image reconstruction using an edge preserving spatio-spectral Wiener estimation

Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2009
Reconstruction of spectral images from camera responses is investigated using an edge preserving spatio-spectral Wiener estimation. A Wiener denoising filter and a spectral reconstruction Wiener filter are combined into a single spatio-spectral filter using local propagation of the noise covariance matrix.

Spectral Reflectance Reconstruction Based on Spectral Optimization of Light Source

2019 Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2019
As a unique property of the object surface, the spectral reflectance plays an important role in computer vision applications and in realistic material reproduction. To determine the influence of the light source on the spectral reflectance reconstruction accuracy, the pseudo-inverse method is adopted to reconstruct the spectral reflectance.

Spectral methods for reconstruction problems

2007
“Spectral methods” capture generally the class of algorithms which cast their input data as a matrix and then employ eigenvalue and eigenvector techniques from linear algebra. Empirically, spectral methods have been shown to perform successfully in a variety of domains, e.g., text classification [DDL90], website ranking [PB98, Kle99]. On the other hand,

Spectral Ct Reconstruction Via Self-Similarity In Image-Spectral Tensors

2019 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI 2019), 2019
Spectral computed tomography (CT) reconstructs multi-energy images from data in different energy bins. These reconstructed images can be contaminated by noise due to the limited numbers of photons in the corresponding energy bins. In this paper, we propose a spectral CT reconstruction method aided by self-similarity in image-spectral tensors (ASSIST ...
