Feedback Acquisition and Reconstruction of Spectrum-Sparse Signals by Predictive Level Comparisons

open access: yes, 2017
In this letter, we propose a sparsity promoting feedback acquisition and reconstruction scheme for sensing, encoding and subsequent reconstruction of spectrally sparse signals.

The RGB Digital Camera's Multi-Channel Spectral Reconstruction Based on Basis Function Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Proposed and implemented a complete multi-channel spectral reconstruction method based on basis functions, and using RGB digital camera built up a reconstruction system.

Mechanisms of parasite‐mediated disruption of brain vessels

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Parasites can affect the blood vessels of the brain, often causing serious neurological problems. This review explains how different parasites interact with and disrupt these vessels, what this means for brain health, and why these processes matter. Understanding these mechanisms may help us develop better ways to prevent or treat brain infections in ...

Dynamic Spectral Guided Spatial Sparse Transformer for Hyperspectral Image Reconstruction

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Hyperspectral image (HSI) reconstruction plays a crucial role in compressive spectral imaging with coded aperture snapshot spectrometry. Although HSI reconstruction has attracted much attention in recent years, it remains a challenging problem.

Spectral Image Reconstruction Using Recovered Basis Vector Coefficients

open access: yesPhotonics, 2023
Spectral imaging plays a crucial role in various fields, including remote sensing, medical imaging, and material analysis, but it often requires specialized and expensive equipment, making it inaccessible to many.

Quantum state reconstruction of spectral field modes: homodyne and resonator detection schemes

open access: yes, 2013
We revisit the problem of quantum state reconstruction of light beams from the photocurrent quantum noise. As is well-known, but often overlooked, two longitudinal field modes contribute to each spectral component of the photocurrent (sideband modes). We

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

A comprehensive review of spatial-temporal-spectral information reconstruction techniques

open access: yesScience of Remote Sensing, 2023
Fine spatial resolution remote sensing images are crucial sources of data for monitoring the Earth's surface. Due to defects in sensors and the complicated imaging environment, however, fine spatial resolution images always suffer from various degrees of

Necessary and Sufficient Conditions for the Solvability of Inverse Problem for a Class of Dirac Operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper, we consider a problem for the first order Dirac differential equations system with spectral parameter dependent in boundary condition.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...
