Redshift Dependence of QSO Spectral Variability
We present a combined analysis of the optical spectral variability for two samples of QSOs, 42 objects at $z<0.4$ monitored at the Wise Observatory (Giveon et al 1999), plus 59 objects up to $z\sim 3$ in the field of the Magellanic Clouds, detected and/or monitored within the MACHO Project database (Geha et al 2003). Our analysis shows some increase

Spectral Variability Augmented Sparse Unmixing of Hyperspectral Images
Spectral unmixing (SU) expresses the mixed pixels existed in hyperspectral images as the product of endmember and abundance, which has been widely used in hyperspectral imagery analysis.

Comparison of Stochastic Methods for the Variability Assessment of Technology Parameters [PDF]
This paper provides and compares two alternative solutions for the simulation of cables and interconnects with the inclusion of the effects of parameter uncertainties, namely the Polynomial Chaos (PC) method and the Response Surface Modeling (RSM).

Modern spectral analysis in HF radar remote sensing. [PDF]
High-Frequency (HF) radar systems are currently used to collect wave data. By applying spectral analysis methods, such as the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) method, to the radar backscatter from the ocean surface, the so-called Doppler spectrum is ...

Estimating the irradiance spectrum from measurements in a limited number of spectral bands
Accurate measurement and characterisation of fluctuations in the irradiance environment is important for many areas of optical remote sensing. This paper describes a method of estimating spectral irradiance over the region 400 – 1000 nm from the radiance
