Spectrogram generation and their synthesis
The thesis describes generation of time-frequency-intensity graphs (spectrograms) of audio recordings using the Fourier transform. The theoretical possibilities and limitations of spectrogram synthesis (audio reconstruction of a given spectrogram) are ...

The CuO/K‐g‐C3N4 heterostructure photocatalyst achieves selective CO2 reduction to CH4 (93.03% selectivity) under visible‐light irradiation. K‐doping enhances crystallinity, whereas CuO forms a p‐n heterojunction to promote charge separation and electron transfer.

Artificial intelligence for adaptive neuromodulation in drug‐resistant epilepsy
Abstract Drug‐resistant epilepsy (DRE) affects nearly one third of people with epilepsy and is associated with substantial cognitive, psychiatric, and mortality burdens. For patients who are not candidates for resection or laser interstitial thermal therapy, neuromodulation therapies such as vagus nerve stimulation, deep brain stimulation, and ...

Spectrogram analysis of animal sound production
Spectrograms visualise the time-frequency content of a signal. They are commonly used to analyse animal vocalisations. Here, we analyse how far we can deduce the mechanical origin of sound generation and modulation from the spectrogram.

Abstract Objective Pathogenic variants in the calcium/calmodulin‐dependent protein kinase II B gene (CAMK2B) have been associated with neurodevelopmental disorders, including epilepsy, yet the mechanisms underlying cortical dysfunction remain largely unclear.

Abstract Objective To evaluate the signal quality of the Minder implantable continuous EEG monitoring (iCEM) system compared to traditional scalp EEG in the context of long‐term, continuous monitoring in individuals with epilepsy. Methods Twenty‐six patients implanted with the Minder iCEM system (November 2019 to July 2023) underwent 7‐day video‐EEG co‐

Ultrafast oscillations in the human brain and their functional significance
Abstract Objective The upper frequency limit of human brain activity remains unknown. Using ultrahigh sampling rate (≥20 kHz) intracranial microelectroencephalography, this study aimed to systematically explore and quantitatively characterize brain field oscillations beyond the established high‐frequency oscillation range (>2 kHz), and to determine ...

Audio Brush: Editing Audio in the Spectrogram [PDF]
A tool for editing audio signals in the spectrogram is presented. It allows manipulating the spectrogram of a signal at any chosen time-frequency resolution directly and to reconstruct the edited signal in HiFi quality - a capability that is usually not ...
