A brief account is given of the physical principles and the experimental arrangements. Scanning of the range from 26 ° to 38 °C (2θ) permits the resolution of the L α and L β lines of these elements.

Influence of irradiation time on the usability of briquetted samples in X-ray emission spectrometry
Fresenius' Zeitschrift für Analytische Chemie, 1985The influence of X-ray radiation on samples of organic binders (starch, graphite and cellulose) and briquetted samples of sinter and sinter mixture of blast furnace charge was examined. The time of irradiation by the primary X-ray beam was from 0 to 300 min.

X-Ray Spectrometry, 1983Abstract A new procedure of powder sample preparation for x‐ray emission analysis by melting has been worked out in detail. The mixture sample‐flux was melted and cooled in graphite crucible. The resulting glass disk was ready for direct measurement.

Radiation effect on the binder of briquetted samples in x-Ray emission spectrometry
1998In this paper the behaviour of boric acid as binder was investigated. On basis of debyegrams and secondary electron micrographs radiolytic changes of boric acid were proved. Debyegrams of sample of boric acid showed that spottiness and prefered orientation were enhanced after exposure of sample to x-Rays.
