This study investigates nanoscale temperatures generated by photoexcited gold nanostars and their correlation with microscale thermal damage at the cellular level. Using X‐ray absorption spectroscopy and confocal microscopy in 3D cancer spheroids, it assesses localized heating effects and examines tumor cell structure and integrity, offering insights ...

On the Limb Darkening, Spectral Energy Distribution, and Temperature Structure of Procyon [PDF]
We have fit synthetic visibilities from 3-D (CO5BOLD + PHOENIX) and 1-D (PHOENIX, ATLAS 12) model stellar atmospheres of Procyon (F5 IV) to high-precision interferometric data from the VLTI Interferometer (K-band) and from the Mark III interferometer (500 nm and 800 nm).

Ultraviolet Spectrophotometry of Early-Type Stars [PDF]
The ultraviolet spectra of B stars obtained with the sky scan telescope in the TD1 satellite have been used to obtain narrow-band magnitudes at several wavelengths. These photometric bands have an effective half-width of 100 Å. We have proposed a two-dimensional classification scheme based on ultraviolet colours, and some preliminary results are ...

An injectable, adhesive hydrogel integrating 2D‐MoS2 and 5‐fluorouracil (AlgNB/MoS2/5‐FU) is developed for near‐infrared‐triggered photothermal therapy and localized drug delivery. The adhesive hydrogel demonstrates superior tumor anchoring, efficient photothermal conversion, and synergistic inhibition of colorectal cancer progression, offering a ...

Faint emission lines in the Galactic H II regions M16, M20 and NGC 3603 [PDF]
We present deep echelle spectrophotometry of the Galactic {\hii} regions M16, M20 and NGC 3603. The data have been taken with the Very Large Telescope Ultraviolet-Visual Echelle Spectrograph in the 3100 to 10400 \AA range. We have detected more than 200 emission lines in each region.

Ultraviolet spectrophotometry of three LINERs
Three galaxies known to be LINERs were observed spectroscopically in the ultraviolet in an attempt to detect the presumed nonthermal continuum source thought to be the source of photoionization in the nuclei. NGC 4501 was found to be too faint for study with the IUE spectrographs, while NGC 5005 had an extended ultraviolet light profile.

The SciAgents AI model drives hypothesis generation by harnessing multi‐agent graph reasoning, extracting insights from knowledge graphs constructed from scientific papers. Each agent plays a specific role: the Ontologist defines concepts, the Scientists draft and refine proposals, and the Critic reviews.
