Evaluation of Different Methods of Haemoglobin Estimation Among Malaria‐Infected Patients

Journal of Clinical Laboratory Analysis, EarlyView.
This study compared haemoglobin concentrations measured with an automated Full Blood Count (Sysmex XN‐550) analyzer, the cyanmethemoglobin method, and a portable Hb meter (HemoCue Hb 301) in 100 patients with malaria. The three methods showed good agreement and broadly comparable measurements, though small systematic differences were observed.

Establishment and Application of a Quantitative Lipemia Index as a Novel Indicator for Assessing Lipemic Interference in Clinical Chemistry
