Assessing insulating oil degradation by means of turbidity and UV/VIS spectrophotometry measurements

IEEE transactions on dielectrics and electrical insulation, 2015
Oil is a vital part of the transformer body and (similarly to blood in a human being body) keeps responsibility for the condition of the entire organism. Oil is particularly responsible for functional serviceability of the entire insulation system.

Spectrophotometry of Jupiter

Icarus, 1976
Spectrophotometric maps of Jupiter were made between 24 and 27 (UT) November 1974 on the McMath Solar Telescope at Kitt Peak National Observatory. We report a comparison between observed scaled reflectivities of the Jovian North Tropical Zone and the North Equatorial Belt at System II longitudes between 195 and 205 degrees.

A Comparative Study of the Time-Resolved Decomposition of Methylene Blue Dye Under the Action of a Nanosecond Repetitively Pulsed DBD Plasma Jet Using Liquid Chromatography and Spectrophotometry

IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, 2013
An underwater dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma jet excited by a repetitively pulsed nanosecond pulsed power modulator was used to study plasma-induced decolorization of a 1.4 × 10-4 M solution of methylene blue (MB).

Determination of submicrogram quantities of mercury by atomic absorption spectrophotometry

, 1968
The procedure outlined describes an extremely sensitive and accurate method for the detn. of Hg down to 1.0 ppb. in soln. This procedure has been applied to Ni and Co metal as well as rock samples and soil samples contg. org. materials.

Spectrophotometry of the Aurora

Canadian Journal of Physics, 1972
Systematic spectrophotometric measurements of the auroral spectrum in the (S-1) region and of the O I (5577) line involving digital recording and computer averaging techniques, and coupled with reliable background-airglow subtraction, have led to brightness determinations of the O I (8446) line and O2 At (0–1), N2 1PG, and [Formula: see text] M bands ...
