PORTABLE SPECTRORADIOMETER FOR UNDERWATER ENVIRONMENTS1,2

Limnology and Oceanography, 1972
A battery‐powered spectroradiometer is described which can be operated either manually or automatically in remote field applications. The probe can be easily maneuvered into restricted environments. The incident spectrum is determined by measuring successively through 16 interference filters transmitting in narrow wavebands from 401–698 nm.

Diffraction effect in the calibration of the spectroradiometer [PDF]

open access: possibleSPIE Proceedings, 2013
In the imaging optical facility, the light source, the spectroradiometer and the optical path are the three fundamental elements. Most of time the light source is not a dot source and the radiation flux received by the spectroradiometer doesn’t only obey the rule of the geometry optics.

A new imaging FTIR spectroradiometer

SPIE Proceedings, 2009
ABB Bomem is expanding its line of infrared remote sensing products with the addition of a new imaging spectroradiometer. That hyperspectral instrument is based on the proven MR FTIR spectroradiometers. This field instrument, called the MR-i, is a fast imaging Fourier Transform spectroradiometer. It generates spectral data cubes in the MWIR and LWIR.

DYNAMIC RESPONSE OF CCD ARRAY SPECTRORADIOMETERS

Radiation Protection Dosimetry, 2015
A number of factors affect the measurements by charge coupled (CCD) array spectroradiometers, including stray light, dynamic response and ambient temperature. The departure from linearity was assessed for four CCD array spectroradiometers and linearity correction calculated with standard uncertainties error estimates.

Solid laboratory calibration of a nonimaging spectroradiometer [PDF]

open access: possibleApplied Optics, 2000
Field-based nonimaging spectroradiometers are often used in vicarious calibration experiments for airborne or spaceborne imaging spectrometers. The calibration uncertainties associated with these ground measurements contribute substantially to the overall modeling error in radiance- or reflectance-based vicarious calibration experiments.

Automatic Recording Spectroradiometer System

Applied Optics, 1971
A versatile, mobile, automatic recording spectroradiometer of high precision and accuracy has been developed. The instrument is a single-beam device with an alternate reference beam intended primarily for measurements of spectral irradiance. However, it is equally useful for measurement of spectral radiance, transmittance, or reflectance. The system is

Evaluating the uncertainty of the fiber spectroradiometer

SPIE Proceedings, 2015
ABSTRACT The fiber spectroradiometer is now widely used in the photometry and radiometry due to the convenience. Before use the calibration is usually traced back to th e tungsten lamp with known spectral irra diance. However, th e working condition may differ greatly from the calibration condition, such as the signal level, the spectrum shape, and et ...

Characteristics in the calibration of the fiber spectroradiometer

SPIE Proceedings, 2013
Due to the development of micro-electronics in the field of multi-element optical detectors and fiber optics in the communication technology, fiber spectroradiometer now are widely used in photometry and radiometry. For most of time, the measurement environment may differ greatly from the experimental condition where calibration is made.

Colorimetry of LEDs with array spectroradiometers [PDF]

open access: possibleMAPAN, 2009
Compact and cost-effective array spectroradiometers are increasingly used in photometric and radiometric measurements. In this report, results of the colorimetric characterisation of LEDs using both low-end and high-end array spectroradiometers are compared to those obtained with the help of a conventional scanning double-monochromator ...

Wide angle spectroradiometer

Journal of Scientific Instruments, 1963
A spectroradiometer for the measurement of spectral irradiance (in μw cm-2 (3 nm)-1) in the wavelength range 420 nm to 1100 nm is described. It has an entrant system, consisting of an integrating sphere with a conical baffle inside, for obtaining good cosine response.
