Spectroradiometer Calibration for Radiance Transfer Measurements. [PDF]
Optical remote sensing and Earth observation instruments rely on precise radiometric calibrations which are generally provided by the broadband emission from large-aperture integrating spheres. The link between the integrating sphere radiance and an SI-traceable radiance standard is made by spectroradiometer measurements.

PORTABLE SPECTRORADIOMETER FOR UNDERWATER ENVIRONMENTS1,2 [PDF]
A battery‐powered spectroradiometer is described which can be operated either manually or automatically in remote field applications. The probe can be easily maneuvered into restricted environments. The incident spectrum is determined by measuring successively through 16 interference filters transmitting in narrow wavebands from 401–698 nm.

Intra-specific pelage color variation in a South American small rodent species [PDF]
Intra-specific color variation is often underestimated by researchers, and among mammals, intra-specific differences in coloration are poorly documented for most species. The main goal of this study was to apply an objective color measurement methodology

Wearable Spectroradiometer for Dosimetry
Available wearable dosimeters suffer from spectral mismatch during the measurement of broadband UV and visible radiation in environments that receive radiation from multiple sources emitting differing spectra. We observed this type of multi-spectra environment in all five Washington State cannabis farms visited during a field study investigating worker

Laboratory calibration for multidirectional spectroradiometers [PDF]
Abstract A method for the calibration of multidirectional spectroradiometers (MUDISs) capable of the simultaneous measurement of spectral radiance at different wavelengths is presented. The calibration of the spectroradiometer is challenging and crucial for high quality measurements of the angular dependence of the radiance.

SUSPEN intercomparison of ultraviolet spectroradiometers [PDF]
Results from an intercomparison campaign of ultraviolet spectroradiometers that was organized at Nea Michaniona, Greece, July 1–13, 1997, are presented. Nineteen instrument systems from 15 different countries took part and provided spectra of global solar UV irradiance for two consecutive days from sunrise to sunset every half hour.
