A Direct-Reading Comparison Spectroradiometer

Applied Optics, 1966
A modification of the Cary Model 14 for radiometry is described which allows recording in microwatts per square mlllimeter per nanometer on the ordinate and linear wavelength on the abscissa through the range 250-2500 nm. A 5.08-cm diam rotating integrating sphere is used to compare standard to unknown sources at a 30 c/s rate.

A Computer Based Spectroradiometer System

Applied Optics, 1970
A spectroradiometer system is described which is designed to make measurements of the spectral energy-distribution of light sources over the 0.25-2.5-micro wavelength range. A review is presented of some of the major experimental problems encountered in radiometry, in conjunction with the approach employed here to meet these problems.

An On-Board Submillimeter Spectroradiometer

1976
Studies of the spectrum of the sun’s radiation in the submillimeter wavelength range are of considerable interest for the determination of the physical conditions in the lowest layers of its atmosphere (temperature, active regions) [1] and for the detection of highly ionized atoms of heavy elements in the solar corona [2].

Testing of the SR5000 spectroradiometer performance

SPIE Proceedings, 2002
The SR5000 spectroradiometer addresses a wide variety of military, industrial and scientific applications that demand real-time, noncontact, highly accurate and highly sensitive measurements of object’s radiometric properties. It covers the waveband from 0.207~14.5m, has spectral resolution as fine as 2% and records over 30 spectra per second.

Continuously Recording Spectroradiometer*

Journal of the Optical Society of America, 1958
A spectroradiometer is described for recording the spectral distribution of daylight or of any artificial light source that radiates steadily for 3.5 min. Beams from the external source and from an internal standard lamp are deviated alternately through a monochromator to a multiplier phototube.

DYNAMIC RESPONSE OF CCD ARRAY SPECTRORADIOMETERS

Radiation Protection Dosimetry, 2015
A number of factors affect the measurements by charge coupled (CCD) array spectroradiometers, including stray light, dynamic response and ambient temperature. The departure from linearity was assessed for four CCD array spectroradiometers and linearity correction calculated with standard uncertainties error estimates.

Automatic Recording Spectroradiometer System

Applied Optics, 1971
A versatile, mobile, automatic recording spectroradiometer of high precision and accuracy has been developed. The instrument is a single-beam device with an alternate reference beam intended primarily for measurements of spectral irradiance. However, it is equally useful for measurement of spectral radiance, transmittance, or reflectance. The system is

Solid laboratory calibration of a nonimaging spectroradiometer [PDF]

open access: possibleApplied Optics, 2000
Field-based nonimaging spectroradiometers are often used in vicarious calibration experiments for airborne or spaceborne imaging spectrometers. The calibration uncertainties associated with these ground measurements contribute substantially to the overall modeling error in radiance- or reflectance-based vicarious calibration experiments.

Characteristics in the calibration of the fiber spectroradiometer

SPIE Proceedings, 2013
Due to the development of micro-electronics in the field of multi-element optical detectors and fiber optics in the communication technology, fiber spectroradiometer now are widely used in photometry and radiometry. For most of time, the measurement environment may differ greatly from the experimental condition where calibration is made.

Colorimetry of LEDs with array spectroradiometers [PDF]

open access: possibleMAPAN, 2009
Compact and cost-effective array spectroradiometers are increasingly used in photometric and radiometric measurements. In this report, results of the colorimetric characterisation of LEDs using both low-end and high-end array spectroradiometers are compared to those obtained with the help of a conventional scanning double-monochromator ...
