Radio spectrum is a scarce resource; understanding its economic value is one piece of information needed to manage it efficiently. Estimating the value of radio spectrum, however, creates significant challenges not found in valuing some other assets. Spectrum is somewhat of a special case; market transactions provide a basis for valuation, but almost ...

This chapter presents some simple results on graph spectra. We assume the reader is familiar with elementary linear algebra and graph theory. Throughout, J will denote the all-1 matrix, and 1 is the all-1 vector.

On the basis of all the available observations of the Ne vi spectrum, particularly the new beam-foil spectra obtained at Liege University, approximately 50 new line assignments are proposed and approximately 30 new energy levels are determined in Ne vi. All known energy levels have been improved, and a new value is proposed for the ionization potential.

Absorption Spectrum versus Excitation Spectrum of Pyrazine
Berichte der Bunsengesellschaft für physikalische Chemie, 1988AbstractThe first ME spectrum of pyrazine was measured as an excitation spectrum. Assuming the quantum yield to be constant over the spectrum it was considered as an absorption spectrum and de‐diagonalisation led to zero order energies and coupling constants of the singlet and triplet states.

Voice Spectrum and Sidetone Spectrum
1974When a speaker hears his own voice fed back to him with altered intensity or timing, he adjusts the properties of his speech to compensate for the apparent distortion of his message. These adjustments appear to be designed to provide the listener with intelligible messages rather than to provide the speaker with some acoustic feedback required for ...

In this book all Hilbert spaces will be assumed to separable for simplicity. In this section we review some basic definitions and properties; we refer to Kato (Perturbation theory for linear operators, Die Grundlehren der mathematischen Wissenschaften, Band 132. Springer, New York, 1966), Reed and Simon (Methods of modern mathematical physics.
