Analysis of the Kω spectrum

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1974
Abstract We present results of a spin-parity analysis of the Kω system from threshold to 1.52 MeV based on 12 500 events of the type K − p→ K − π + π − π o p at 7.3 GeV/ c . We also present evidence for a possible resonant state decaying into Kω at a mass 1710 ± 15 MeV and width 110 ± 50 MeV.

The Impact of Sensing Range on Spatial-Temporal Opportunity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, we study the impact of secondary user (SU) sensing range on spectrum access opportunity in cognitive radio networks. We first derive a closed-form ex- pression of spectrum access opportunity by taking into ac- count the random variations ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Solar-like oscillations with low amplitude in the CoRoT target HD 181906

open access: yes, 2009
Context: The F8 star HD 181906 (effective temperature ~6300K) was observed for 156 days by the CoRoT satellite during the first long run in the centre direction. Analysis of the data reveals a spectrum of solar-like acoustic oscillations.

Multidimensional OMICs reveal ARID1A orchestrated control of DNA damage, splicing, and cell cycle in normal‐like and malignant urothelial cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the frequently mutated chromatin remodeler ARID1A, a subunit of the SWI/SNF cBAF complex, results in less open chromatin, alternative splicing, and the failure to stop cells from progressing through the cell cycle after DNA damage in bladder (cancer) cells. Created in BioRender. Epigenetic regulators, such as the SWI/SNF complex, with important

Performance analysis of spectrum sensing techniques for cognitive radio [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Spectrum sensing is a key element for cognitive radio and is process of obtaining awareness about the radio spectrum in order to detect the presence of other users.

Multi‐omic characterization of consensus molecular subtype 1 (CMS1) colorectal cancer with dampened immune response improves precision medicine

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study highlights the importance of multi‐omic analyses in characterizing colorectal cancers. Indeed, our analysis revealed a rare CMS1 exhibiting dampened immune activation, including reduced PD‐1 expression, moderate CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, and suppressed JAK/STAT pathway.

Age at autism spectrum disorder diagnosis: A systematic review and meta-analysis from 2012 to 2019

open access: yesAutism, 2020
Between 1990 and 2012, the global mean age at diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder ranged from 38 to 120 months. Measures have since been introduced to reduce the age at autism spectrum disorder diagnosis, but the current global mean age is unknown ...

Coherent state of a nonlinear oscillator and its revival dynamics

open access: yes, 2009
The coherent state of a nonlinear oscillator having a nonlinear spectrum is constructed using Gazeau Klauder formalism. The weighting distribution and the Mandel parameter are studied.
