Sur la possibilité de relier le spectre de masse à la fragmentation radiolytique par le calcul matriciel

open access: yesCHIMIA, 1971
A new semi-empirical relation is proposed to relate the radiolytic ionic fragmentation in the vapor phase to the mass spectrum of hydrocarbons. Extensive use is made of the cross sections of the various ion-molecule reactions of the fragment ions ...

SPG4 and Dementia: Expanding the Clinical Spectrum

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) is a group of disorders characterized by progressive spasticity and lower limb weakness, with mutations in SPG4/SPAST being the most common cause. Detailed studies and clinical and molecular comparisons across different populations are missing.

Pseudo-MS3 Approach Using Electrospray Mass Spectrometry (ESI-MS/MS) to Characterize Certain (2E)-2-[3-(1H-Imidazol-1-yl)-1-phenylpropylidene]hydrazinecarboxamide Derivatives

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, 2014
An approach for the use of in-source fragmentation with electrospray ionization followed by product ion scan in a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer system is described.

MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL TREATMENT REDUCES THE RISK OF TREATMENT ESCALATION DUE TO VASCULAR COMPLICATIONS IN LIMITED CUTANEOUS SYSTEMIC SCLEROSIS: EMULATION OF A TARGET TRIAL FROM ITALIAN RHEUMATOLOGY SOCIETY SPRING REGISTRY

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Objective Mycophenolate Mofetil (MMF) use in limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (lcSSc) is relatively uncommon due to the lower fibrotic burden and the predominance of the vascular complications. In vitro observations and clinical data from transplanted patients suggest a protective effect of MMF on endothelial function.

Harnessing Fungal Biowelding for Constructing Mycelium‐Engineered Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Mycelium‐bound composites (MBCs) offer low‐carbon alternatives for construction, yet interfacial bonding remains a critical challenge. This review examines fungal biowelding as a biocompatible adhesive, elucidating mycelium‐mediated interfacial mechanisms and their role in material assembly. Strategies to optimize biowelding are discussed, highlighting

Shifting unoccupied spectral space in mass spectrum of peptide fragment ions

open access: yesJournal of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry, 2009
Ions near the high-end border of a mass defect distribution plot for native peptide fragment ions have potential as signature markers that are based on mass-to-charge ratio determination. The specificity of these marker ions, including phosphoryl ions, can be improved by removing interfering isobaric ions from the border region on the distribution plot.

Liquid Chromatography Coupled with Linear Ion Trap Hybrid OrbitrapMass Spectrometry for Determination of Alkaloids in Sinomeniumacutum

open access: yesMolecules, 2018
The characterization of alkaloids is challenging because of the diversity of structures and the complicated fragmentation of collision induced structural dissociation in mass spectrometry.

Microstructural Evolution and Vacancy Defect Formation in Mn–Mo–Ni RPV Steel Under Low Cycle Fatigue: Insights From EBSD and PALS

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

THE ROLE OF QUARK POLARIZATION IN HEAVY QUARK FRAGMENTATION [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sciences, Islamic Republic of Iran, 1999
We calculate the exact fragmentation functions for c and b quark fragmentation taking into account the spin orientation of the initial heavy quark in the form of analytical and rather simple expressions.

Corrosion and Process Analysis of a Preoxidized MgO Recyclate‐Based Cermet Anode in Laboratory‐Scale Na‐Cryolite Molten Salt Electrolysis of Aluminum at 1000°C

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
EDX elemental map of the pre‐oxidized MgO–steel cermet anode cross section after electrolysis. The development of inert anodes for aluminum electrolysis remains challenging due to the high corrosivity of cryolite‐based melts at 950°C–1000°C. This study investigates the corrosion and process behavior of a carbon‐free MgO–steel cermet anode derived from ...
